Cornish Diamond Tin Collection made with Cornish Shipwreck Tin from the SS Liverpool which sank in 1863.

The molten tin is poured into moulds made by Cornish craftsmen and fettled, polished and finally assembled in a Penzance workshop.

19th century Cornish tin miners favoured a pasty for daily 'croust' (lunch). They rarely contained meat in those days and were usually made with potato, 'rooties' (swede turnip) and pilchards..
