Cornish Diamond Tin
Cornwall's history of mining tin can be traced back nearly 4000 years.
The mineral ore of tin, cassiterite, was frequently found in large brilliantly lustrous black crystals, known to the miners as 'Diamond Tin'.
Tin is a traditional 10th wedding anniversary gift. Modern alternatives also include aluminium and diamond.
